Rachel Labbe-Bellas

Rachel Labbe-Bellas is a marine ecologist, entrepreneur, and advocate dedicated to combating plastic pollution and promoting sustainable infrastructure. She is the founder of O’land Stations, a company that designs, builds, and operates quick-refill water stations for large events and venues to reduce reliance on single-use plastic bottles. 

Rachel holds a BSc in Biology from McGill University (Canada) and an MSc in Ecology from UFSC (Brazil). Her career spans academia, research, and nonprofit work, including collaborations with the 5 Gyres Institute, Mission Blue, and participation in the eXXpedition project. 

Driven by her passion for ocean health, Rachel has lived and worked in multiple countries, speaks several languages, and brings together scientific expertise with entrepreneurial innovation to create scalable environmental impact.
