Calling on the incredible women shaping the future of conservation. The International Women in Conservation Summit (IWIC) is now accepting abstracts for the 2026 Summit in Belize, taking place November 6–7, 2026. 

This year’s theme, “Stronger Together: Building Partnerships for Conservation Impact.” explores how collaboration, partnership-building, and knowledge exchange can strengthen conservation efforts around the world.

To submit your proposal, please include the following: 

• An abstract (maximum 350 words) describing your work and the key ideas you would like to share. You can type or copy in your Proposal into the form or upload it. 

• 3–5 images that highlight your work, project, or conservation efforts. 

• A CV or résumé outlining your experience. 

Priority Topics Include: 

Conservation Partnerships, Land Conservation, Natural Sacred Spaces Conservation, Deep Sea Exploration and Treaties, Knowledge Exchange, One Health, Environmental Justice & Pollution, Blue and Green Economies, Species Rehabilitation, Habitat Restoration & Connectivity 

Join us in amplifying women’s leadership, sharing innovative solutions, and building the partnerships needed to create lasting conservation impact. 

Submit your abstract and be part of a network of women building partnerships and amplifying knowledge for a bolder, brighter future in conservation.  

We recognize that impactful conservation work happens in many different contexts, and not everyone has access to traditional application materials. If you are unable to provide these items, you are welcome to submit a short letter of interest instead, explaining your work and how you would like to share your experience at the summit. If this is the case, use the ‘Abstract’ or ‘Abstract Upload’ fields.
